1. Data we collect
- Account: name, email address, password (encrypted).
- Exact location (GPS): used for navigation and alerts. Not stored continuously.
- Truck profile: height, weight and dimensions that you enter.
- Reports: the alerts you submit, with an approximate location.
- Trip history: origin, destination and distance (not the full route).
- Device identifiers & advertising ID: used for analytics only.
- Crash logs & diagnostics: to detect and fix bugs and improve performance.
2. How we use your data
- Navigation and personalized alerts.
- Calculating and crediting rewards.
- Improving the quality of community data.
- Account communication (password reset, etc.).
- Analytics to understand app usage, fix crashes and improve the app.
3. Data sharing
We never sell your data. Only reports are shared anonymously with the community. We do not display ads.
4. Third-party services
- Firebase (Google): authentication and database.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google): usage analytics and crash reporting.
- TomTom: route calculation.
- Google Maps: map display.
- Expo / EAS: application updates.
5. Advertising identifier
TruckerBuilt uses your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID) for analytics purposes only — measuring app performance and stability. TruckerBuilt does not show advertising.
6. Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings.
